CDL ELDT Pricing
This page defines the pricing information for Alpers Excavating’s Entry-Level Driver Training.
Theory Test administration – $50
This consists of the online or paper version of the Alpers Excavating ELDT theory test, and score submission to the FMCSA database. You may retake this test as many times as needed to achieve a passing score. You will not be charged for multiple attempts. Your best score will be submitted to FMCSA. The online test is graded automatically.
Training Session – $85 / Hour
This will consist of Theory, BTW-Range and/or BTW-Road training. There is no minimum time required to complete these trainings. You will be trained per the requirements defined in §380 appendix A. This training can usually be completed in less than 10 hours. However, it is highly recommended that you practice your range and road skills further before taking your CDL skills test. You are encouraged to practice as much as possible on your own time to ensure you are prepared for the skills test. You can request additional training time with Alpers Excavating as desired.
Billing
You will be billed upon completion of your training requirements. You will have 30 days to pay once you have received your bill. Additionally, upon completion of training, your training record will be submitted to the FMCSA database within 24 hours, and you will be given/mailed a receipt and instructions on how to view your training record on the FMCSA database.
